The New & Improved Needlestop® 1866

Bennett Safetywear Ltd, the Liverpool-based manufacturer of high performance hand protection and specialised protective clothing, has recently been concentrating resources upon improving its range of needle-resistant gloves. The result is a brand new leather-backed version of the best selling Needlestop® 1866 glove.
Initially designed for a customer who required more extensive back of hand protection for the purpose of handling razor wire, the new version of Needlestop® 1866 has been successfully developed to provide this extra protection with no loss to dexterity. Not only has the glove been tested to EN388, but it has additionally performed very well in more rigorous tests involving a variety of different sized hypodermic needles.
This new version confirms Needlestop® 1866 as the best choice for use in industrial applications such as handling domestic or hospital waste where there is any risk of contact with hypodermic needles or other sharp objects.
More recently Bennett Safetywear has applied the technology used in the 1866 to develop a range of needle-resistant clothing for applications such as refuse collection, and other hospital and domestic waste handling.
Bennett Safetywear Limited’s success is thanks to its continued commitment to product development and innovation. With close attention given to new material and technical developments, Bennett Safetywear Ltd is able to successfully confront the safety issues that challenge today’s workforce.
