Our Needlestop® range of puncture-resistant gloves and clothing are suitable for a variety of applications. For police search operations we recommend the V2399 or V2485 due to their lightweight and water-resistant properties. For more arduous and industrial tasks (i.e. refuse collection or hospital waste disposal etc), we advise the 1866 or the 1866 PLUS. The 1866 gloves offer more comprehensive protection and yet remain surprisingly dextrous.
More recently we have added two pairs of needle-resistant trousers to the range, suitable for strimming and refuse collection applications respectively. For more information about the entire Needlestop® range, take a look at the brochure.

Needlestop Puncture Resistant Trousers (V0159, V0157)
New additions to the Needlestop® range include two variations of puncture resistant trousers. Protection in both is provided by the same advanced coated aramid fabric as used in the cuff of the Needlestop® 1866 gloves.
The first variation (code: V0159) provides protection on the outside of the ankles and thighs and thus complements the 1866 glove in its suitability for tasks such as refuse collection/clinical waste disposal.
The second variation (code: V0157) provides front and back protection from ankle to knee. These trousers are more suited to activities such as strimming or working with glass. For further advice and assistance, please contact us.
